Tree felling is a
dirty dangerous job, but somebody’s gotta do it.
According to labor data compiled by Jobapplicationcenter.com, tree felling is the most dangerous job in America, killing 79 out of every 1,000 workers per year. The gig is nearly five times as deadly as the next dangerous job on the list, commercial pilots, who die at a rate of 16 per 1,000 workers per year. Also making the top 10: hoist and wench operators (a title that includes crane operators in industries like coal mining and logging); tree trimmers and pruners; and commercial drivers.Read full story
